EXCURSUS
We’ve been invited to contribute to weekly newspaper Letzebuerger Land’s arts pages, in the series of carte blanches given to architects.
Our contribution called “excursus” is a selection of analogue pictures from our private archives: snapshots of seminal buildings & spaces but above all of the overseen, the unknown, the demolished and the mundane, banal elements fostering moving (architectural) experiences.
Part heartwarming memory, part militant prospective, excursus is a piece of the visual inventory that shapes our view of architecture. In these times, an implicit manifesto as much as simple wanderlust.
